The Accredited Allergy Center of Springfield is currently owned and operated by Dr. Laura Gesicki-Wood. Dr. Gesicki-Wood is a board certified physician who received her medical degree on full scholarship from the University of Virginia Medical School in 1999. She completed both her Internal Medicine Residency and her Allergy and Immunology Fellowship at the University of Virginia Medical Center in 2003 and 2005 respectively. In August of 2005, Dr. Gesicki-Wood joined the Accredited Allergy Center of Springfield. The Center was originally founded by Dr. Ronald Wilbur in 1976 and purchased by Dr. Gesicki in November 2006.
Dr. Pratima Fozdar is a board certified Internist who has worked with the practice since 1986. She continues to add valuable contributions with her extensive medical knowledge as well as her warm personal style.
The Accredited Allergy Center operates with a patient-first philosophy and continues to embody the warm personal style of traditional medicine.
